
The New Forest Record Series
This initiative has been started to provide an outlet for the publication of documents that will be of benefit to those researching various aspects of the New Forest. To provide a financial basis for the project, an approach was made to the European Community New Forest LEADER+ 2000-2006 Programme, a funding stream provided by the European Union. This backing provides for publication of the first five volumes of the series which are as follows:

Vol.5 To Inquire and Conspire, New Forest Documents 1533 - 1615. Elizabethan and Jacobean enquiries into the management of the New Forest.
Edited by Richard Reeves. Published June 2008. A joint book launch for the last two volumes was held on 12 June 2008.
Each of these hardback volumes has an introductory essay and full personal and place-name indices. The first five volumes are to be published in a limited run of 200 copies each. Any profit made from the sale of these volumes will go towards the publication of future volumes in the series.
